The ATMA exam for July 2021 was conducted on July 26, 2021, and the results were announced on July 31, 2021.

Candidates who appeared for the ATMA exam online will be able to download their ATMA results from the official website of ATMA AIMS. They need to log in to the website using their PID (Personal Identification Number) and password. The results were announced by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS).

On the basis of the ATMA scorecard, admission will be offered to candidates in various management institutions that accept the scores of ATMA for their MBA/PGDM and MCA programs. The ATMA result scores are valid for admission for the academic year 2021-23.

How to check ATMA result 2021

You can check your ATMA result by following these steps:

Visit the official website of ATMA AIMS
Click on the tab that says ‘Candidate Login’
Select the exam date
Enter details such as PID and password
Click 'Login'

Once you click the login button, the ATMA scorecard will be displayed on the screen which you can download and finally take a printout of the same.

How to calculate ATMA score?

Your ATMA score is determined on the basis of correct answers marked by you in the ATMA exam. For every correct answer, you will be awarded one mark. For an incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from your total score. This means that for four incorrect answers, one mark is deducted from the total score. Your raw score is scaled with reference to the total number of candidates appearing in the exam.

ATMA Marking Scheme

According to the ATMA exam pattern, the marking scheme is as follows:

For every correct answer, you will be awarded 1 mark.
For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
The total marks of the paper is 180.

Colleges conduct the first round of individual selection based on the ATMA scores. The cut-offs at different colleges vary year to year.

ATMA admission process

Over 500 colleges offer admission to MBA, PGDM, MCA and PGDBA courses based on ATMA scores. You have to select the course you wish to study in one of the eligible colleges and apply. After you successfully complete the application, the admission process will involve the following steps.

ATMA 2021 Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be called by the respective institutes for further selection rounds. The first round will include Group Discussion (GD) and those who clear it will go on to the second round which will be a Personal Interview (PI).

What should I do after receiving my ATMA result?

If you have cleared the management entrance exam, you are eligible for admission to the various MBA colleges across India. Successful candidates are called by ATMA participating colleges for counseling/GD/ PI. ATMA scores are valid for admission to more than 200 management schools across India and abroad. You can choose five institutes while filling ATMA application form 2021.
If you want to send your scores to more institutes, you need to write to the ATMA AIMS office mentioning the management institutes to which you want to send the same. For every institute, you need to pay Rs 100. You should apply directly to the various institutions within their admission deadlines.

What is PID in the ATMA form?

On successful payment of the registration fee, you will receive a Personal Identification Number (PID) on your registered email address and mobile number through an SMS.
The PID will work as the login ID for your ATMA exam.

Can I appear for ATMA more than once?

The ATMA exam is held 4 times a year. You can appear more than once and the score of the last exam attempted would be considered for admissions.

Will I get admission on the basis of ATMA result directly?

Does IIM accept ATMA score?

IIM only accepts CAT scores for admissions. ATMA results will not make you eligible for admissions to the IIMs.

After ATMA results you need to apply for the courses of your choice in the colleges that accept ATMA scores. After successful application, the college will shortlist you and you will have to appear for the second round of selection.

The second round usually consists of a Group Discussion, Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. Based on the total score in the second round, you will be shortlisted for final admission.
