The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will oversee the decision of JEE Advanced Cutoff 2023, conducted by the Joint Admission Board (JAB). The top 2,50,000 JEE Main qualifiers may apply for the JEE Advanced exam in 2023. 

The JEE Advanced exam is delivered online in a centre-based format. The authorities will publish the JEE Advanced expected cut-off on the website after the announcement of results. Upon successfully passing the JEE Advanced entrance exam, admission to engineering and architecture programmes will be available to suitable applicants. 

Factors Affecting the JEE Advanced Cut-off 2023

The JEE Advanced IIT Cut-off may change every year. The variation in cut-off depends on several factors. As mentioned before, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will determine the cutoff for JEE Advanced 2023. The criteria stated below will determine the JEE advanced exam cutoff:

  • The number of applicants who appeared for the entrance exam
  • The level of difficulty of the entrance exam
  • The past test trends of the entrance exam, along with the JEE Advanced previous year cutoff
  • Availability of seats at participating institutions
  • The performance and score of candidates in the entrance exam 

Highlights of the JEE Advanced IIT Cut-off 

The following information is everything that JEE Advanced aspirants need to be aware of regarding the JEE Advanced 2023 Cut-off: 

  1. The required minimum marks in JEE Advanced to get IIT as their institution of choice is known as the cut-off.
  2. The cut-off does not remain the same every year. It is subject to vary depending on several variables. 
  3. The cut-off for JEE Advanced 2023 will be announced once the results are released. 
  4. When the Joint Seat Allocation Authority conducts counselling, the appropriate IITs prepare the JEE Advanced cut-off (JoSAA). 
  5. Each IIT university will publish the subject-wise cut-off in JEE advanced separately.
  6. The rank list will include the opening and closing ranks for the admission cut-off. 
  7. The JEE Advanced 2022 Cut-off rank lists the minimum percentage of marks needed in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and the minimum percentage of overall required marks.  

JEE Advanced Expected Cutoff 2023 

The JEE Advanced expected cutoff is framed based on the JEE Advanced previous year's cutoff.  They consider these cut-off scores to perform the counselling procedure for JEE Advanced 2023. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will publish a separate cut-off estimate for each category. Given are the minimum combined scores of all three subjects and the qualifying marks for each subject.
