Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test, more commonly known as JIPMAT, is a national-level entrance examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). JIPMAT is for admission into a 5-Year Integrated Programme in Management and is conducted in July every year.
With that said, if you do not wish to get into an integrated programme, you can consider other types of BBA entrance exams.
What is JIPMAT?
JIPMAT, or Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test, is an entrance examination for admission into integrated management programmes. JIPMAT is a 2.5-hour long Computer Based Test (CBT) organised in 75 cities in India.
There are 100 questions from three sections — Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning.
JIPMAT Exam Date 2023
JIPMAT exams are generally conducted in the month of June to July. Aspirants will get the exam details for the JIPMAT 2023 on its official website. Students can register for JIPMAT from the second week of May.
JIPMAT Fees 2023
For the unreserved category, the examination fee for JIPMAT is ₹2,000, and for the reserved category (SC, ST, OBC, and other backward classes), the fee is ₹1,000.
JIPMAT 2023 Eligibility
Do you want to appear for the JIPMAT 2023? If yes, you need to fulfil these JIPMAT eligibility conditions:
- Candidates should successfully clear the class 12th examination in any stream or equivalent.
- Candidates should secure a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate (55 per cent for candidates from SC/ST/PwD)
- If a candidate appeared in the year 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2023, he or she should secure more than 60% marks.
- A candidate should have successfully passed the 10th examination with at least 60 per cent marks (55 per cent for candidates from SC/ST/PwD) or more if the year of appearance is 2018 or later.
How to Register for JIPMAT 2023?
Interested candidates can register for the JIPMAT on its official website from the second of May, 2023. Here is the JIPMAT registration process —
- Visit the official website, and complete the one-time registration to create login credentials
- Fill in the personal details
- Fill in the academic details
- Scan and upload the images of the photograph and signature
- Pay the application fee via net banking or credit/debit card
Syllabus for JIPMAT 2023 Exam
As we mentioned before, there will be three categories in the JIPMAT question — Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning. You, as a candidate, need to be prepared for these subjects. It is not very different from the tests for BBA degrees or BBA programmes. So, if you have done aptitude test preparation for BBA, you can also appear for this entrance test.
