The Maharashtra MBA CET was conducted on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of August 2022. This year’s syllabus or pattern of MBA CET was similar to last year's. The structure of the question paper was also similar, but the difficulty level was lowered. The authority announced the MAH CET MBA result on September 11. 

What is MAH CET MBA?

MAH CET, or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, is a management entrance test for admission into the MBA programme at institutes in Maharashtra. The  State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, conducts the MAH CET. The syllabus of this entrance exam includes  – Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Abstract Reasoning, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension.

After clearing the MAH CET MBA, candidates must go through the CAP or Centralised Admission Process. Candidates get seat allotments in participating colleges through this counselling process. 

Candidates are selected based on their scores in MAH CET. Further, if candidates have a valid score in national-level MBA entrance exams like CAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA, they can directly participate in MAH CET MBA counselling.

MAH CET MBA Counselling 2022

Candidates who score qualifying percentile in MAH MBA CET exam are allotted seats through the Centralised Admission Process or CAP, conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. Now, if you are a student outside of Maharashtra, you can also participate in CAP with a valid CAT/GMAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA score.

• For both Maharashtra State and Outside Maharashtra State candidates, the MAH CET MBA Counselling 2022 will take place in three rounds.
• If selected for admission, candidates have to visit designated counselling centres for document verification.

There is no negative marking in MAH MBA CET.

• How to prepare for MAH MBA CET?

MHCET MBA is a moderately difficult entrance exam. Candidates who have already appeared in any national-level MBA entrance exam, or have been preparing for one, may not find the MHCET very tough. 

However, just like any other national-level examination, one should not downplay it and practise some management exam preparation tips.

• Is calculator allowed in MAH MBA CET?

Calculators, mobile phones, digital watches, and other gadgets are not permitted inside the MAH CET examination hall.
