MAT 2020 Admit Card - Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the All India Management Association (AIMA) has postponed the conduct of the MAT exam from May to June. AIMA will release the admit card of MAT 2020 June attempt for the computer-based test on June 17 and for the paper-based test on June 09, 2020. The MAT admit card 2020 will be available for download from 4 pm on the respective dates. The candidates appearing for May Management Aptitude Test (MAT) must visit the official website - mat.aima.in to download and print their MAT 2020 hall ticket. The candidates will have to enter any of the two details - date of birth, application form number, and email id for download the MAT exam admit card. The test-takers will not be allowed to enter the exam center and sit for this management entrance test if they fail to produce a valid admit card for verification.  AIMA generates specific admit cards for both PBT and CBT MAT modes. The roll number, name, details of the allotted exam center and more will be mentioned on the MAT exam admit card 2020. The candidates who will register for the test on or before the deadline will only be issued the admit card. MAT 2020 Admit Card

The admit card acts as identity proof for the candidates taking this exam and admission to MAT participating colleges. Along with the admit card, the candidates are suggested to carry a photo Id proof for the purpose of verification.

Id’s to be carried with MAT May Admit Card

The candidates must carry the original Id along with the admit card to the test center for verification purposes. The candidates can carry any of the following photo ID’s along with the AIMA MAT 2020 hall ticket – 

  1. PAN Card 
  2. Driving License
  3. Passport
  4. Aadhar Card
  5. Voter ID
  6. School/College ID

On the day of the exam, the invigilator will verify the admit card and sign the same, on being satisfied that the details mentioned on it matches with the Id proof produced by the candidate. The upper half of the signed MAT 2020 admit card will be collected by the exam invigilator and the other half will be handed over to the candidate. Steps to access and download MAT Admit Card 2020

For viewing and downloading admit card for the MAT exam 2020, the candidates can follow the below steps –

  1. The admit card will only be available on the official website of AIMA MAT, www.aima.in. However, for the convenience of the candidates, a link to download the admit card will also be provided here on this page. The candidates can either visit the official site or can access the direct link.
  2. On the homepage of AIMA MAT, the link to download the admit card will be available in the right corner, under the heading “Quick Links”.
  3. The candidates must click on that link and on the redirected page, they will be asked to enter any of the two login credentials such as date of birth, registration number, or email id. Refer to the screenshot below for more clarity. 
  4. On submission of the valid details, the admit card for the MAT 2020 exam will flash on the screen.
  5. Download this displayed admit card. Open it in a .pdf reader and take 2-3 printouts of this downloaded hall ticket.
  6. Carry this printout to the allotted exam center for seeking entry and permission to take the test.

It is important for the candidates to carry the admit card which furnishes correct details. Otherwise, admitting card-bearing errors may lead to problems in verification. MAT Exam Admit Card 2020 – Important Points

 Here are a few of the points to be kept in mind by candidates taking MAT 2020 -

  1. The candidates must carefully read all the instructions mentioned on the admit card and follow the same.
  2. As directed, the exam takers will have to report at least “90 minutes” prior to the exam time and produce the admit card to the invigilator.
  3. Both the candidate and the invigilator must sign the MAT admit card 2020.
  4. Retain the signed admit card of MAT 2020 safely even after the conclusion of the exam. The candidates can be asked to produce the same at the time of the GD/PI process and admission.
  5. The admit card will not be sent through post or email to any of the candidates.
  6. No duplicate MAT exam admit cards will be issued to the candidates

Q1. I am not able to view the admit card, what should I do?

Ans. Kindly check the credentials entered for downloading the MAT admit card 2020. If the details are correct, then have patience, admit card will display. It may take some time due to the server or internet speed being slow. Also, try deleting your browsing history & cache, it may help. 

Q2. I have forgotten my registration number, how can I download the admit card?

Ans. You can enter two other details, such as your date of birth and the email id (used at the time of registration).

Q3. Can I change the allotted test center?

Ans. The exam center once allotted cannot be changed. Therefore, the candidates are advised to carefully opt for the exam cities, while filling out the application form.

Q4. What is to be done if I am not able to print the MAT admit card 2020?

Ans. Check the Internet browser and pdf reader you are using. Try using the latest and updated version of the same. If the problem of printing still persists, kindly check your printer settings.

Q5. I have observed certain errors in my admit card for MAT 2020. My roll number is not available, instead the field is blank. What should I do?

Ans. Such a candidate is suggested to contact AIMA and convey the issue to them at the earliest. And under no circumstances, he/she must carry this error-bearing MAT admit card to the test center. Q6. Will I get the admit card in hard copy via post?

Ans. AIMA will not send the admit card through the post in hard copy. It must only be accessed in online mode only.

Q7. Will I receive an email notification regarding the release of MAT 2020 admit card?

Ans. No, the candidates will not be individually intimated regarding the release of the admit card. It is the duty of exam takers to either remember and mark the release date in the calendar or regularly keep a check of the official website.

Q8. I am appearing for both MAT 2020 paper-based and computer-based tests. Can I carry the PBT exam admit card to the CBT exam too?

Ans. No, AIMA generates and issues specific admit cards for MAT computer-based and paper-based tests. MAT admit card 2020 of a particular mode must be used for it only and not otherwise.

MAT 2020 will be organized 4 times – in February, May, September, and December. AIMA conducts this MHRD-approved National level test in two modes – paper-based and computer-based. Any candidate having a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in any discipline can take Management Aptitude Test 2020.
