The Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is a separate entrance test held in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Telangana for admittance into different colleges in both states. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education and the Telangana State Council of Higher Education organise the AP EAMCET and TS EAMCET exams, respectively.
Every year, many engineering and medical students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana apply for the EAMCET. AP EAMCET is the entrance exam for admission to BE, BArch and BTech (Agril Engg/Dairy Tech) and medicine (AM Category: Agriculture and Medicine). From July 4 to 12, 2022, the JNTU Anantapur administered the AP EAMCET 2022 on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.
AP EAMCET: Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be of Indian origin. (Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holders and PIOs are eligible to apply for the AP EAMCET 2022.)
- Candidates must have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.
OR
- Candidates must have passed related vocational courses in Engineering and Technology held by the Board of Intermediate Education.
OR
- Candidates must have passed a Diploma Examination in Engineering/Architecture held by the State Board of Technical Education & Training.
- Candidates must be 16 years old and above as of December 31, 2022. (For AP EAPCET 2022 applicants, there is no upper age limit.)
- Aspirants must have a minimum aggregate score of 45% in all subjects. Reserved-category candidates must have received at least 40% of the total marks.

AP EMCET Qualifying Marks
To qualify for their AP EAMCET 2023 exams, candidates from the Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC) categories do not need to achieve any minimum qualifying marks. However, candidates should be aware that their admission depends on the number of seats available in their respective categories.

- The rank gained in AP EAMCET 2022 is valid for acceptance to the courses mentioned in the application form only for the academic year 2022-2023.
- The AP EAPCET result will be available on the official website-sche.ap.gov.in/eapcet.
