AP EAMCET: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be of Indian origin. (Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holders and PIOs are eligible to apply for the AP EAMCET 2022.)
• Candidates must have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.

OR 

• Candidates must have passed related vocational courses in Engineering and Technology held by the Board of Intermediate Education.

OR 

• Candidates must have passed a Diploma Examination in Engineering/Architecture held by the State Board of Technical Education & Training.
• Candidates must be 16 years old and above as of December 31, 2022. (For AP EAPCET 2022 applicants, there is no upper age limit.)
• Aspirants must have a minimum aggregate score of 45% in all subjects. Reserved-category candidates must have received at least 40% of the total marks.

To qualify for their AP EAMCET 2023 exams, candidates from the Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC) categories do not need to achieve any minimum qualifying marks. However, candidates should be aware that their admission depends on the number of seats available in their respective categories.
