JEE Main Application Form 2023 : Release Date and Fees

The JEE Main application form will be available in November 2022. Before applying for the same, applicants should review the JEE Main eligibility requirements. The National Testing Agency authorises the JEE Main paper 1 for admission to BE or BTech courses and the JEE Main paper 2 for acceptance to BPlan and BArch courses.

The National Testing Agency will organise the JEE Main exam in the 4th week of April 2023. However, the phase 2 exam will follow in the 4th week of May 2023. The committee will announce the JEE Main application form date on its official website. The notification will include information on the eligibility requirements and other specifics. How to Fill Out the JEE Main Application Form?

• Navigate to the official website, JEE Main
• Locate the registration link for JEE Main 2023.
• Open that link and enter the necessary information.
• After registering, you will receive your login information by email and text message.
• Finish the JEE Main registration by entering your registration number and password.
• Now, enter the requested personal and academic information.
• Upload the necessary files with the requested details. 
• Carry out the JEE Main application form download if required. 
• Make the payment now. 

Candidates must correctly enter the following information on the JEE Main registration form:

• Name of the candidate
• Maiden name of the mother
• Name of the father
• Date of Birth Gender

Candidates must provide their correct contact information, such as an email address and a mobile phone number. They get notified for further communication through the details, such as an address, city, email address, pin code, mobile number, and so on.

JEE Main Application Form 2023: Documents Required

Candidates will come across a few options during the JEE Main form filing process, which requires some documents to complete the application procedure. These documents must be kept ready before beginning the registration process:

• 10th-grade diploma
• 12th-grade mark sheet
• A scanned copy of a passport-sized photograph
• Signature scanned copy
• Caste certificate [Scheduled Caste (SC) OR Scheduled Tribe (ST)]
• Certificate of domicile
• Passport

Documentation requirements differ for candidates from countries other than India. Foreign candidates require the following documents:

• Certificate of birth
• 12th-grade mark sheet with at least 75% overall
• A valid identification proof
• Citizenship certificate or passport of a parent

Candidates can upload the required documents after completing the JEE Main application form and verifying their contact information. To upload the documents, click Upload Scanned Images. For uploading the scanned images, they must remember the following format and instructions:

Other Image and Document Guidelines

• Candidates may wear spectacles in their photos. Sunglasses and caps, on the other hand, are not permitted. Make sure you use a colour or black & white photograph. 
• Unclear or blurry photographs are not accepted. The uploaded photo must be clear and comply with the recommended file size and format as specified by NTA.
• Aspirants must write their signatures on white paper. The size and format of the uploaded signature must adhere to the guidelines.
• The uploaded documents must be in the size and format specified by the NTA.

JEE Main Registration Fee 2023

After uploading the documents, the next step is to pay the application fee. Candidates can pay the JEE Main registration fee by credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI/PayTm, or e-challan. The JEE Mains form fee varies depending on the student category.

After the final submission, candidates can check the status of their JEE Main application form. To check the application status, follow the steps outlined below.

• Go to JEE Main 
• Select the "Registered Candidate Login" option.
• Enter your application number and password to log in.
•  The JEE Main application status appears on the screen.
