Maharashtra Common Entrance Examination (MAH-CET/MBA CET /MHCET MBA) is a government entrance exam for admission to MBA degree/MMS programs affiliated with Maharashtra State University. The Common State Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra conducts the exam. 

The MAH CET exam tests the aptitude and skills of candidates seeking admission to the Masters of Business Administration and Master of Management Studies programs in Maharashtra. In addition, it helps the authorities to shortlist the most suitable candidates for the program based on their performance in the exam. MAH CET 2023 notification is expected to be issued in March 2023. Before 2021, the exams were conducted in March, but after the pandemic, officials scheduled the exam in August. To help you better plan your preparations, we are providing a tentative timeline for MAH CET exam dates.

Note: Candidates across India attending the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET exam will be allocated 15% of total seats. These candidates will also be admitted based on their national entrance exams scores, such as CAT and CMAT.

Facts Students Must Know for MAH MBA CET 2023

• The MAH CET exam is conducted online.
• The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions, divided into four sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical/Abstract Reasoning, and General Awareness.
• The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
• The exam is conducted in English.

MAH CET Exam Paper Pattern

• The candidate must note that there is no section time limit to attempt the question. The candidate can smartly divide their time into sections according to their strengths and weaknesses.
• Candidates can move freely between sections.
• Candidates can answer the questions in each section in any order.

MAH CET Selection Process

Once the results of MAH-CET 2023 are announced as per the MAH CET 2023 exam calender, DTE Maharashtra will initiate a Concentrated Admissions Process (CAP) to allocate Masters of Business Administration/MMS places at all participating universities. This process takes about a month and a half. 

After the document verification process, the merit list will be declared. This will facilitate the B-school assessment process. A final list will be announced after the CAP is completed. 

All top MBA colleges in Maharashtra, including JBIMS Mumbai, SIMSREE, PUMBA and KJ Somaiya participating in the CAP round, will admit admissions by DTE-CAP 2023 according to seat matrix and B school allocation.

Application Process for MAH MBA CET 2023

Step 1: Visit his website for MAH CET 2023.

Step 2: Enter the basic details. H. Name, email and mobile phone number to register for the MAH CET 2023 exam.

Step 3: Complete the application with your personal and educational contact information.

Step 4: Please also upload documents such as photos and signatures in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Pay the application fee online, such as credit card/debit card/net banking. 

Step 6: Submit your application and print it for future reference.

Note:

• The application form for MAH CET 2023 is available online.
• Application forms will be available from the second week of March 2023 (as per the MAH CET 2023 exam schedule).
• The application form includes various steps such as registration, filling in personal and academic information, uploading images and documents, and paying the application fee.
• Candidates must also upload an image of the document in the format and size prescribed by the application.
• When filling out the application form details, candidates may not be provided a correction option to edit the application form, so candidates should review and confirm all completed details. The application deadline is the 2nd week of May 2023.
• Applicants should bring a hard copy of the application for future reference.

Eligibility for MAH-CET 2023

Country of Citizenship:

• Candidates must be Indian/PIO/OCI/NRI citizens.
• Applicants from other federal states can also apply. However, in this case, you must comply with the full non-local eligibility clause in the state government standards.

Qualification:

• Candidates must have a 3-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institute/university.
• Candidates must earn at least a 50% score (45% are reserved categories). 
• Those who passed the aptitude test are also eligible to apply.
