Beyond the general eligibility criteria, authorities have laid specific guidelines for candidates permanently residing in an area designated as a disputed border of Maharashtra and Karnataka.
- Candidates must produce a Domicile certificate from the Headmaster/Principal of the School/college.
- Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination from a school situated in that disputed border area.
- Candidates must have studied Marathi as one of the subjects in 10+2 or equivalent examinations.
- Candidates must speak Marathi as their mother tongue, and to certify that, they must produce a certificate from the Principal/Headmaster of the College/School from where they qualified 12th standard examination.
