The SP Jain Institute of Management Mumbai grants admission to PGDM courses based on the GMAT, XAT and CAT entrance exams. A score of 85 percentile in the CAT or GMAT is required to enter a PGDM program. SPJIMR also offers a GMP course in Mumbai based on GMAT or GRE or CAT, or XAT scorecards. The minimum SPJIMR cut-off mark for the GMAT entrance exam is 300.

  • For the academic batch of 2023, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research has released the cut-off for the PGP program for SPJIMR 2023. 
  • SP Jain cut-off 2023 is the minimum score a candidate needs to secure to qualify for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for SPJIMR 2023 Admission

  • The candidate must have a consistent academic record in 10th, 12th, and graduation. SPJIMR will consider the aggregate mark of all subjects on the mark sheet.
  • Applicants must have completed their UG degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%. After 10+2, the graduation course should last a minimum of three years.
  • Candidates in their final year of graduation may also apply for SPJIMR admission.

Entrance Test - Applicants are required to have a scorecard from one of the national entrance tests listed below.

  • Common Aptitude Test (CAT): It is a national-level computer-based exam used for admission into management programs in Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other top business schools in India.
  • Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT): It is a national-level computer adaptive test used to assess analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in candidates seeking admission into graduate management programs. GMAT is conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC).
  • Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT): It is a national-level entrance exam conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur for admission to its MBA, PGDM, and other management programs. More than 150 other B-Schools accept the XAT score in India 

SPJIMR Final Selection - This is evaluated based on the candidate's academic record, personal profile, relevant work experience (optional), scores of the entrance exams (CAT/XAT/GMAT) and performance in the two rounds of group interviews.

PI Schedule of SPJIMR Admission 2023

The university will conduct PI in various cities following the release of the SPJIMR Cut-off. Check out the tentative schedule for the personal interview (PI) below.

Listed below are the steps to apply for SPJIMR.

  • Step 1 - Candidates must visit the SPJIMR official website and click on 'Apply Now'. Then they must enter their Name, Email ID, and other required details and click on 'Register'.
  • Step 2 - Candidates will receive a verification link in their provided email id, which they need to click and enter all personal information, including their address. Candidate must then upload all requisite documents and then proceed to the next page.
  • Step 3 - Candidates must select their specialisation preferences for the PGDM program. The candidates can choose two PGDM programs.
  • Step 4 - After selecting the PGDM programmes, candidates must complete all their academic details from class 10th onwards. In this section, candidates can also mention any academic breaks they took during their careers.
  • Step 5 - Candidates must now mention how long they have worked after graduation (if any). Candidates without work experience can click on the "No" tab and proceed. Additionally, candidates can highlight their achievements in sports, academics, extracurricular activities, etc.
  • Step 6 - Candidates must provide details of the entrance test they have taken- XAT, CAT, or GMAT. The candidate must verify that the entrance test they are taking is the correct one, and they must provide the examination ID.
  • Step 7 - Make payment through a credit/debit card or net banking account.
