CMAT Registration 2023: Application Date, Fees & Process

CMAT, or Common Management Admission Test, is a national-level entrance examination for admission into AICTE-approved Master of Business Administration courses in participating universities.

CMAT Registration 2023: Important Dates

The NTA, or the National Testing Agency, conducts the CMAT. It will announce the exam date and registration schedule in January or February 2023. Here is a table with all the important dates (tentative) of CMAT 2023.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023:

To apply for CMAT 2023, candidates must possess a bachelor's or equivalent degree in any subject from a recognised university. Further, 

• There is no minimum score requirement.
• Final year bachelor’s degree students are also eligible. 

CMAT Registration Process 2023

Candidates can register for CMAT 2023 in five simple steps:

1. Online registration
2. Filling out the online application form
3. Scanned photo and signature upload
4. The payment of CMAT fees
5. Selecting the test centre

Remember that the CMAT 2023 exam fees must be paid online. 

STEP 1: Online Registration for CMAT 2023

• Open the CMAT NTA website 
• Click on ‘New Registration’ to create your account 
• Once the CMAT 2023 registration opens
• Enter your name, date of birth, city, email ID, password and mobile phone number
• Click on 'Submit'

Upon successful registration, a 12-digit application number will be displayed.

STEP 2: Filling out the Online Application Form for CMAT 2023

• Enter the 12-digit application number and password to log in 
• Enter academic details in the application form
• Check the form once and click on the ‘Submit’ button
• In case you wish to edit any field, do it before submitting the application form

STEP 3: Document Upload

Upload your passport size photo, signature and PwD certificate (if applicable) in the prescribed format. 

Passport size photograph	10 kb to 200 kb in JPG/JPEG format
Scanned signature	4 kb to 30 kb in JPG/JPEG format
PwD certificate	50 kb to 300 kb in JPG/JPEG format

STEP 4: CMAT Application Fee Payment

NTA CMAT fee payment has to be made online. Candidates can pay by using their SBI/HDFC debit/credit cards, net banking and UPI/PAYTM service). Here goes a table showing category-wise CMAT fees:

STEP 5: Download Confirmation page

This is the last step of the CMAT application. Once the candidate pays the application fee, a page shall appear indicating confirmation of application submission. The candidate needs to download this page and preserve it. If a situation arises, this confirmation page can act as proof of successful submission of the CMAT application and fees.

CMAT Registration 2023: Important Documents

Here is the list of documents required for CMAT Registration 2023.

• The mark sheet of Class 10
• The mark sheet of Class 12
• The mark sheet of Graduation 
• PWD/DA certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Signature of the candidate on a white paper (which the candidate needs to scan and upload)
• Recent passport size photo, preferably, against white background

CMAT Application Process: Important Points to Remember

• Provide correct information and do not leave any mandatory field vacant.
• Carefully select your CMAT 2023 test city preference.
• The application confirmation page will appear after successful payment.
• Take a printout of the application confirmation page 
• The form cannot be edited after submission, so check all the information entered before submitting. 
• You will receive an Email and SMS confirmation after successful payment; contact the examination office immediately if you do not receive the confirmation SMS or Email.
• While registering for the CMAT 2023, use a computer instead of doing it on a smartphone.
