The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), also known as Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET), for different undergraduate and postgraduate programs in participating universities. 

The exam is held in two slots of 195 minutes and 225 minutes. This is an MCQ-based exam with around 44 central universities and 46 other universities offering admissions to various undergraduate courses like a BMS course, BBA Program, etc. 

CUET UG Structure

The CUET UG is conducted in 13 languages:

  1. English
  2. Hindi
  3. Bengali
  4. Gujarati
  5. Assamese
  6. Marathi
  7. Odia
  8. Telugu
  9. Tamil
  10. Malayalam
  11. Kannada
  12. Punjabi
  13. Urdu

The exam has four sections:

  1. Languages – two sections
  2. Domain-specific subjects – one section
  3. General Test – one section

CUET UG Syllabus 2022

In the CUET UG exam, students will get questions from the subjects of English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Analytical Skills, and General Knowledge.

Language Test

Students are tested on their fluency in the language selected by them. This is primarily done through Reading Comprehension-based questions. If you have selected English as the preferred language, then you can download the CUET English Syllabus by visiting this link.

Domain Subject Test

Based on the subject chosen by the student while submitting the CUET 2023 application form, this section will have questions based on the Class 12 syllabus of the selected subject.

General Test

This section will have questions on the following topics:

  • General Mental Ability
  • Analytical Skills and Logical Reasoning Skills
  • Quantitative Reasoning
