The CUET 2022 dates are announced, and before you jump on to the “how to crack CUET examination” bandwagon after filling the CUET form 2022, it is imperative that you uncover the syllabus that is going to come in the paper and explore different sections of the paper that they are going to ask. The CUET 2022 syllabus is divided into the following parts: 

The exam will consist of 4 sections 

    • Section IA - 13 languages
    • Section IB - 19 languages

The pattern will follow an MCQ format and there will be a total of 175 questions out of which 140 need to be answered

  • Understand the syllabus of the CUET exam thoroughly. This will help you shortlist what you have to study for the exam.
  • Plan a timetable - since the exams are held immediately after 12 board, it is advantageous to you since you have momentum going. Preparation will be easier. But be careful not to overdo it as it can lead to burnout.
  • Practise Practise Practise - By practising like taking up mock tests, you continue to remain focused and you can identify your strengths and weaknesses and work on perfecting them.

    • Check previous years' papers and mocks and solve them
    • Time yourself while writing mocks as this will help you gauge your progress
    • Identify your weaknesses and work towards them

Each college has its own cut-off marks for the intake of students. However, if you want to get into the top colleges for UG, then it is advisable to score at least 80% or around 640 marks out of 800 if you want to be considered by top colleges for admission.
