Karnataka Common Entrance Test, or KCET, is conducted to take students in professional courses in the fields of engineering, pharmacy, and agricultural programmes.  It is regulated by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), and both UG and Diploma aspirants in Karnataka must clear this counselling process. 

The KCET 2022 results were declared on 30th July, but there has been a revision. Mr Ramya S, Executive Director of the KEA (The Karnataka Examinations Authority), said, following the order of the Karnataka High Court, that the revised Karnataka CET result 2022 would be announced on October 1, 2022. This decision to revise the KEA result was made considering the 50% II PU marks for the repeating candidates’ list.

The KCET counselling is conducted for admission to Government seats for the first semester or first year of various courses (B.Arch, Medical, Dental, B.Sc., B.HSc, B.FSc, B.Tech degree, etc.) offered by various colleges and universities.

The KCET CUT OFF is important for all candidates who have taken the exam. The cutoff marks shall be the factor to determine your score. The obvious system is that the candidates who achieve more points than the required KCET 2022 cutoff marks or cutoff marks are more likely to be assigned priority seating. The Karnataka Examination Board has allowed students to challenge any errors they find in their KCET 2022 results. To dispute your 2022 KCET results, please follow the steps below.

  • After the declaration of KCET RESULT 2022, candidates have 3 days to appeal the results to the competent authorities.
  • After candidates have cross-checked their results, if there are discrepancies in their results, they can contact KEA to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
  • After reviewing all issues, KEA presents the results to students.

According to KCET results statistics shared by the Karnataka Examinations Authority, out of 1,75,428 candidates (90.23% of registrants) took the Physics paper, and 1,75,337 (90.10%) took the Chemistry exam. The same was Thursday, with 79.90% and 91.92% for biology and mathematics, respectively.
