NMIMS is an abbreviation for Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, one of India’s most renowned academic institutions. Candidates from all over the country take the NMIMS entrance exam to gain admission to several courses, including Commerce, Law, and Management. 

The university-level exams at NMIMS are Common Entrance Test (CET), Law Aptitude Test (LAT) and NAPT. Students who want to study programs like BBA at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) must apply for the NMIMS NPAT entrance exam. 

What is the NMIMS NPAT Exam?

The NPAT full-form is the National Test for Programmes After Twelfth. NMIMS NPAT is an admission test for management programs at SVKM's NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies) constituent schools in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Shirpur, Hyderabad, Indore, Dhule, and Navi Mumbai campuses. The NMIMS entrance exam for BBA is a gateway for applicants to gain acceptance to the BBA course, BBA and MBA (dual degree), and other UG  and integrated course degrees.

How to Fill the NMIMS NPAT Registration Form? 

Here are the steps to fill in all the details in the registration form for the NMIMS exam:

  1. Navigate to the NMIMS NPAT official website 2023. 
  2. Search for the "Apply Now" or "Register Now" tab and create your account.
  3. A new registration ID is delivered to your email address, which you can use to log in and complete the registration form.
  4. Begin filling out the other required information, such as your name, email address, phone number, address, declarations, etc. 
  5. Candidates will also be able to select the most convenient exam centre based on their availability. If you fill in all the details in the form ahead of time, there is a good chance of being assigned to your most desired centre.
  6. Candidates must pay the application fee using the payment method specified.
  7. Finally, make a copy of the application form and fee receipt.

NMIMS NPAT Eligibility Criteria 

Here is the eligibility criteria for the NMIMS NPAT:

  • Applicants for the NPAT must have passed Class 12th or one of the equivalent exams (including the IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma in any of the subjects).
  • Applicants must have an International Baccalaureate diploma only from a recognised board. Holders of an IB certificate are not eligible to take the NMIMS entrance exam.
  • Applicants who have completed the 12th class or any of the equivalent examinations from any ODL(open or distance learning) institution may also sit for the exam. The NIOS(National Institute of Open Schooling) should recognise the institution in this case.
  • As per the NMIMS BBA eligibility criteria, applicants must have at least a 60% cumulative aggregate score in class 12th or any equivalent test. 
  • Applicants with an IB Diploma are valid only if they have acquired a standard level in either statistics or maths.
  • Applicants who passed the ICSE or CBSE board exams must outline their overall grade average in all course subjects of Class 10 or any equivalent. The best 4 or 5 subjects' marks are not valid.
  • Applicants above the age of 25 are not eligible to take the exam.

NMIMS NPAT Syllabus 

The NMIMS syllabus will differ for each course offered at the university. The exam question paper has three sections: Quantitative & Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and General Intelligence, and English Language Proficiency. Each section contains several sub-topics. The conducting authority considers these sub-topics when designing the NPAT question paper.

  • Number System: Surds & Decimals, Fractions,  and Number Series
  • Arithmetic: Compound interest and Annuities, Percentages, Discount, Ratio and Proportions, Profit & Loss, Work and Distance, Time, Areas & Volumes, and 2D and 3D figures. 
  • Algebra: Linear Equations and Quadratic Sequence, Basic Algebraic identities, and Series (GP, AP)
  • Sets & Functions: Operation-related to sets & their Applications, Sets, and Venn Diagrams
  • Elementary Statistics and Probability: Median, Mode, Measures of Dispersion, and Mean
  • Trigonometry: Identities, Heights and Distances, Trigonometric Ratios
