OJEE Exam Date 2023: Check Admit Card & Result

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination, or OJEE, is a state-level entrance examination for admission into engineering, medical, and management institutions in Odisha. Both private and government institutions in Odisha consider the OJEE for admission into their B.Tech, Medical and MBA courses. 

The OJEE counselling for the 2023 session started on September 12, 2022, and went on till October 8, 2022. But before that, Special OJEE 2022 was conducted on the 3rd, 4th and 7th of September 2022, in four shifts. Registration for the Special OJEE started on August 1, 2022, at 5 PM. 

While the OJEE was conducted for admission into B. Tech, Medical and MBA courses, the second OJEE or the Special Entrance Exam 2022 was conducted to fill the vacant seats in B. Tech, MBA, and MCA courses. Special OJEE was also conducted for Lateral Entry BTech and MCA.

OJEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• For B.Pharm/B.Plan/B.E/B.Tech/ (LE) candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% in their 12th grade. The minimum requirement of marks for those belonging to the SC and ST categories is relaxed to 40%. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology are required subjects in 12th grade.
• For BHMS/BAMS, applicants must have obtained a minimum of 50% in their 12th board or equivalent examinations. SC and ST applicants will be allowed a 40% score in areas such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• For candidates looking for admission into MBA or MCA, the minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% marks (45% for SC and ST candidates). 
• MCA applicants must have a BCA/B.SC-IT/B.SC CS degree with Math as a required subject in class 12th.
• Those applying for an Integrated MBA must have a 12th-grade education with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC and ST aspirants).
• Candidates looking for admission into M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Pharm/M.Plan courses must possess a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC and ST candidates).

OJEE 2023 Application Form Fillup Process

The OJEE 2023 application form will be made available for download on the official website. Candidates may follow these steps to complete the OJEE Application Form. 

• Visit the OJEE official website.
• Fill out all the information like the applicant's name, father's name, active phone number, correspondence and permanent address, email address, and other information.
• Scan a passport-size image of the candidate and his or her signature.
• The scanned image and the signature should be uploaded in the prescribed size and format.
• Upload the required documents following the instructions on the application form.
• Pay the application charge using online mode (net banking, debit/credit card, e-challan).
