The MAT 2020 result date for February has been announced. AIMA to announce MAT 2020 results by 29th February 2020. The registration for MAT February 2020 has already begun on 27th December 2019, with many aspirants preparing hard for this management entrance exam. MAT 2020 scorecard is out after approximately 15-20 days of giving the test. The Management Aptitude Test conducted by AIMA is one of the most popular National Level management entrance exams and is conducted four times a year. The MAT 2020 scorecard will be accepted by over 600 B schools across the country for admission into their management programs. MAT 2020 February will be conducted on 2nd February (CBT) and 16th February(PBT). The high frequency of 4 times a year gives the candidates ample opportunity to improve. Another plus of giving the MAT 2020 exam is that the score is valid for 1 year. The mode of giving the MAT exam is both the Paper-based Test and Computer-based Test, however, the application process is online only. The MAT 2020 exam will be conducted four times this year in the months of February, May, September, and December. The duration of the MAT exam is 210 minutes or 2 and a half hours and the cut-offs of the participating institutes accepting MAT scores go a little high. MAT Result
Candidates who have taken the MAT 2020 exam for February in the Paper-based mode, as well as the Computer-based mode, can check their results once declared on the AIMA website. The MAT 2020 result will be uploaded on the official AIMA website. The result for MAT 2020 exam will contain section-wise scores and combined scores along with the MAT percentile. The candidate can check his/her MAT 2020 result and scorecard by using their registration number and roll number to log into their MAT account.

The candidate must follow the steps given below to download his/her MAT 2020 scorecard successfully.
Steps to download the MAT 2020 result from the official website
- Visit the official website of AIMA (https://www.aima.in). AIMA releases the result login separately.
- Enter your login details such as your MAT registration number and roll number to successfully log in.
- Once you have entered your login details, click on the ‘submit’ button.
- On logging in successfully, the MAT 2020 result will be displayed on the screen in the form of a scorecard.
- Click on ‘download’ and take a printout.
The candidate can check their result through an SMS also. The following are the steps to check your MAT 2020 result via SMS on your registered phone number. In a single SMS, you will be able to know the status of your MAT 2020 result.
Steps to check results via SMS

Type ‘MATS’ followed by your application number and Date of Birth(DoB) as specified on your registration form and send it to 54242. For eg. MATS 123456 180493 to 54242.
- After checking the status of your MAT 2020 result via SMS, download the MAT 2020 scorecard as it is required for the further selection and admission of the candidate.
Candidates must also make a note that the MAT 2020 result is also sent to the candidate by post on the address given during the registration process. In case the candidate has not received the MAT 2020 scorecard by post, he/she can make a request for the same. Given below are the steps to request the delivery of the MAT 2020 result by post.
- Submit a written application requesting a duplicate scorecard.
- Photocopy the last half of your MAT 2020 admit card (invigilator’s sign is needed).
- Write your address at which you will like to receive your MAT 2020 result and attach a postage stamp of Rs 40 along with it.
- Send the above documents to the address stated below:

Details on the MAT 2020 Scorecard
The MAT 2020 result is not the only information on the scorecard. The MAT 2020 February scorecard contains a lot of important details such as:
- Name of the candidate
- Form number
- Date of test
- Roll number
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Degree
- Category
- Work experience
- Individual marks scored in each section
- Total score
- MAT 2020 percentile
- Score valid up to (month)
In case of loss of scorecard
In the case of misplacing or losing the MAT 2020 scorecard, the candidate can request the issue of a new one within 45 days from the declaration of the MAT 2020 result. Note: If candidates request the scorecard after 15 to 45 days from the date of result declaration, AIMA sends the duplicate scorecard free of cost. However, after that period mentioned, candidates can still apply for the duplicate copy, but in this case, they need to pay Rs 118 (18% GST on Rs 100/-)
MAT 2020: Marking Scheme
The MAT 2020 exam does constitute negative marking. The MAT has a total of 5 sections and a total of 200 questions. The sections on the MAT are Language, Critical reasoning, Data analysis, Mathematical skills and general global awareness. Section-wise weightage of marks is given in the following table:

After the declaration of the MAT Result
The candidates who have appeared for the MAT 2020 February exam and have also received their MAT results, are now eligible to apply to various MBA/PGDM programs. If the candidates have filled the names of particular colleges in the MAT 2020 application form, the AIMA will forward the MAT 2020 results to those particular colleges and on clearing the individual cut-offs, the candidate will receive a call from the colleges calling them for the next rounds of selection, i.e. GD & PI. However, if the candidate has not specified any participating colleges accepting MAT scores, the candidate is required to go on the official website and fill in a form to be a part of the subsequent rounds of selection. The candidate can individually apply to the participating colleges, in addition, submit your MAT scorecard for the following MBA/PGDM sessions.
