One of the most popular MBAs in India is the MBA in Marketing specialisation. The centre of any organisation is its marketing. As technology has advanced throughout the world, so has the marketing trend. This has become the main reason why many graduates choose to pursue their career in the same. The course will help you gain knowledge about many marketing strategies of top management organisations to build your career in this field successfully.

MBA in Marketing: Overview

  • MBA in marketing, just like any other MBA program, is a 2-year postgraduate program focusing on the marketing areas such as advertising, branding, international market, and managing the resources that are used in marketing.

  • Though some get confused between sales and marketing, door-to-door sales are not the focus of marketing. The differences between marketing and sales must clearly be understood. The marketing domain has several subcategories, some of which include market research, digital marketing, public relations, etc. The sales component is one of them.

  • The best dual specialisations or related courses you may take in addition to a traditional MBA Marketing program are MBA Marketing and Sales, MBA Marketing and Finance, and MBA Marketing Management.

  • Candidates interested in pursuing an MBA in marketing should have at least a 50% average in their undergraduate studies and valid scores on national-level MBA tests like the MAT, CAT, or ATMA.
