ATMA Exam Pattern – AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is a computer-based MBA entrance test recognized by MHRD and AICTE. It is a prestigious national-level exam conducted in all the major cities of the country for admission to MBA, PGDM, MCA, and PGDBA courses.

ATMA Exam Pattern

ATMA Exam examines the basic aptitude and competency required for pursuing postgraduate management courses. Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) officially has released the exam pattern of ATMA 2021 and is available in the prospectus.

A total of 180 multiple-choice questions will be asked in the ATMA 2020 exam. The exam will have 6 sections and 30 questions will be asked from each section.

ATMA Exam Sectional Timings

Each of the six sections in the ATMA exam pattern contains 30 questions. 30 minutes are allotted for each section which takes the total time of the exam to 180 minutes or 3 hours. On average, 1 minute is allotted per question, and candidates need to prepare accordingly.

ATMA Exam Pattern: Marking Scheme

It is important to have an understanding of how the questions are marked, how negative marking is done, total marks in the exam, and the correct marks per question.

How many questions are on the ATMA exam?

Is there a sectional cutoff in the ATMA exam?

Some institutes have sectional cut-offs for admission into specialised management programmes. However, most institutes only consider the total percentile score for admissions.
