MHT CET Syllabus 2023

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell is responsible for administering the MHT CET 2023 exam for admission to first-year B.Tech courses and other programs in the state of Maharashtra. The cell has recently released the syllabus and marking scheme for the exam, which can be found on the official website. Before applying, make sure to check that you meet the B.Tech eligibility criteria of the examination. 

The MHT CET 2023 exam is expected to be composed of application-based questions, which will test the candidate's ability to apply knowledge and concepts to real-world situations. To download the syllabus of the MHT CET 2023 exam, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the CAP portal.
  • Find and click on the link for the syllabus under the list of courses and syllabuses available.
  • A PDF file containing the syllabus will open in a new window.
  • Review the syllabus and then download it for future reference.

MHT CET Exam Pattern 

The MHT CET 2023 exam will consist of three sections: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Each section will be 1 hour and 30 minutes long. 

There will be no negative marking on the exam, but the difficulty level is expected to be similar to the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) for Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) and Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB), respectively.
